PinkNews has announced the hire of Alice Beverton-Palmer (pictured, left) as head of creative strategy and platform partnerships and Nic Keaney (pictured, right) as managing editor. Both Alice and Nic join PinkNews from Twitter, where Alice most recently held the role of Senior Manager, Entertainment Partnerships and Nic held the role of EMEA Curation & Trends Lead.
In the newly created position, Alice will lead the PinkNews creative strategy, focussing on merging digital and social advertising, events sponsorship, out-of-home advertising and other bespoke partner activations around key calendar moments. She will work closely across all of PinkNews’ content teams to identify and facilitate commercial content opportunities, including using video content where Alice has significant expertise. She will also be responsible for PinkNews’s relationships with all social media platforms and input into the brand's audience development strategy. Alice will report directly to both Benjamin Cohen, CEO of PinkNews and Anthony James, COO of PinkNews.
As managing editor, Nic will be responsible for leading the editorial and audience teams, driving the growth and development of PinkNews content and the global audiences that PinkNews reaches. She will work closely with other heads of department across video production, product and communications to ensure that PinkNews maintains its reputation as a global, agenda-setting LGBTQ+ media publisher. She will also be responsible for launching new online verticals and creating a strategy to deliver multilingual content across multiple geographies. In the newly created role, Nic will report directly to Benjamin Cohen, CEO of PinkNews.
