Premier football players, Mathieu Flamini and Mesut Özil have announced the launch of their new wellbeing brand, UNITY, designed to put people’s health and our planet on the right path to a sustainable future. TALK.GLOBAL has been appointed to handle the press and publicity for the brand.
UNITY was formed and founded on the shared vision of the two globally renowned athletes: that healthy wellbeing products that perform can, and should, be enjoyed by everyone. With an aim to further demonstrate that sustainable products, services and behaviours that don’t compromise on performance are the future. Unveiling their first product category, a personal care range, the new brand pledges to strike a balance between the products created, the packaging used and the positive social impact possibilities.
The range is comprised of 11 vegan-friendly products that feature the highest grade of up to 100% natural origin formulations free from SLS & SLES, parabens, PEGS, mineral oil, silicones, synthetic colours and artificial fragrance for maximum results and performance.
In a bid to reduce the use of virgin plastic, the brand sought out a bio-plastic alternative made from sugar cane that is 100% recyclable, thus minimising the carbon footprint of the brand. Alongside the product, UNITY strives to keep sustainability at its core throughout the business, with customer deliveries arriving in fully recycled craft boxes with bio-degradable and non-toxic starch chips as packing fill.
Products are available to purchase through oneunity.com either as a one-off purchase or with the option to sign up to subscribe and save; a way to buy in the easiest and most environmentally economical way. The brand also believes in the importance of giving back, with 1% of all company revenues going towards causes that seek to make a true difference to people and planet.
