Immediate Media has confirmed it has decided to suspend the publication of Prima Baby & Pregnancy magazine for the foreseeable future due to the market for parenting magazines changing considerably, and structurally, in the last few years, with much of the audience moving online.

"We want to thank the Prima Baby team for all their hard work on the magazine. And we continue to invest in our thriving online parenting brand MadeForMums.com, which now reaches almost three million busy mums and mums-to-be every month."

Publication will be suspended after the next issue of Prima Baby (the May issue), goes on sale on 21 April. The Prima Baby brand will continue in the form of the Prima Baby Awards, which will be hosted on MadeForMums.com.
