Red magazine has made some changes to its fashion team. Nicola Rose, currently creative director (Fashion) will be changing her role to fashion director at large. She will remain a leading, dynamic contributor to Red's content and aesthetic, continuing to produce and style main fashion stories and covers and will provide creative direction on beauty and fashion features on a part-time basis. This shift in contribution will allow Nicola to consult with commercial clients and she will take up her new role from 16 May.
This change will see Oonagh Brennan, currently style director of Red, appointed acting fashion director, with all fashion roles on the magazine reporting into her. Oonagh joined Hearst Magazines UK in 2001 as fashion editor of Company Magazine and was promoted to fashion director and then associate editor. She worked on the relaunch of Company and was editor of the bi-annual brand extension Company Edit before joining Red as style director in 2014, where she was responsible for re-inventing the Style and Shopping pages as well as contributing to main fashion.
