UK Publishing house Square Up Media has announced its first jump across the pond, choosing Toronto, Canada as its first international market for its food title, Foodism. The magazine, one of five media brands owned by Square Up Media, was launched in 2013 and has grown to become one of London's largest circulating food and drink magazine. The title is read by 110,000 Londoners each month while its weekly newsletter is subscribed to by 60,000 readers. The company identified Toronto as a new home for the magazine after recognising the significant growth the food and drink industry has seen in the city over the past few years, yet the lack of media dedicated to it.
Foodism Toronto will release its first issue of the print magazine in September 2016 with President’s Choice as the official partner.
