River Island acquires Mint Velvet

River Island parent company Lewis Trust Group (LTG) has acquired British fashion brand and retailer Mint Velvet.
Regarding the acquisition, the Lewis Trust Group comments: "This investment reflects high confidence in the business, brand and people. The business continues to be run independently by founders Liz Houghton and Lisa Agar Rey who remain invested."
