Zoë Jordan has been announced as the latest fashion designer to collaborate with high street fashion retailer River Island, as part of its Womenswear Design Forum initiative. Zoë joins Christopher Shannon, Jean-Pierre Braganza, James Long, Eudon Choi and Georgia Hardinge who have all collaborated with the brand initiative. The 11 piece capsule collection designed exclusively for River Island, demonstrates Zoë Jordan's core design characteristics of clean lines and texture. Natural elements are juxtaposed with man-made materials to create a collection that harbours a dramatic tone with subtle elegance. The theatrical range combines the organic with the manufactured; smoke printed maxi dresses and cotton tees are intertwined with leather dresses and knitted jumpers, alongside androgynous cargo shorts, a leather cut tee and tailored two-piece suit, as well as a fauxfur bolero and statement patent leather parka. With prices ranging from £35 to £250 the Zoë Jordan X River Island Design Forum collection will be available in store and online at riverisland.com in September. The collection will launch via a short film at London Fashion Week at the British Fashion Council’s FASHION FILM event.
