For Spring/Summer 2017 River Island has announced that British label Tourne de Transmission will be the next influential designer to follow the likes of Christopher Shannon, Lou Dalton and YMC. Inspired by Japanese clothing cultures old and new, the collection will include 14 pieces of ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories will launch in selected stores and online from January 2017.
To showcase the range, River Island will be presenting a short lm at London Fashion Week Men’s in January 2017 as part of the Fashion Film evening with the British Fashion Council. The lm will be premiering alongside lms from two other designers, selected by the Fashion Film panel and funded by River Island.
