River Island has announced the launch of RI Active, a collection of fashion-forward activewear for women. The collection focuses on fusing fashion with function, using sleek silhouettes and premium sports fabrics. The 23-piece range features workout essentials including crop tops, slim fit leggings, shorts, double layer vests, as well as key outerwear pieces from padded gilets and fleeces to hooded ponchos. All of the garments are designed to flatter the female figure with deep waistbands, ergonomically designed seaming, compact stretch and comfort fit fabrics. The colour palette features darker hues of black and khaki with flashes of neon yellow and camouflage print. The collection launches in store and online from May with prices ranging from £18-£38.
