Lifestyle brand ROADS has announced the launch of its Africa Collection, launching in October. Curated by ROADS brand creator and owner Danielle Ryan and working alongside a team of renowned noses and perfumers, the new Africa Collection harnesses a selection of African ingredients that are combined with influences of literature, art and dance. The collection is made up of four fragrances: I Am Dance, based on the freedom of African Dance, features top notes of lemon, mandarin and marine accord, mixed with fresh apple, pineapple and lavandin, on a base of amber, cedarwood and patchouli; Big Sky, which represents African skies, contains natural top notes of citrus, lemon and orange flower, with geranium, patchouli, papyrus and oud, on a base of amber, sandalwood, cashmeran, myrrh and vanilla; Past|Presence, offering top notes of bergamot and smoked black tea with jasmine and tonka bean; and Afropolis, topped by the lightness of gin, juniper berries, fresh citrus and spearmint, reinforced by blonde woods, iris, oak moss and marine, alongside ebony wood, vetiver, amber and cashmere musks. The fragrances will be available at Avery Perfume Gallery and Liberty.
