Sóley Organics, a luxury skincare brand founded in Iceland has launched in the UK, with products ranging from an anti-aging serum to healing cream, hair products and candles. All products are available to buy in John Bell & Croyden and online. Icelandic actress Sóley Elíasdóttir, a figure in Icelandic film and theatre, founded Sóley Organics in 2007, harnessing the healing properties of Iceland's native herbs. All products are certified organic and are made in Iceland. The range is broken down in the following categories: Mind, Heal, Face, Body and Hair. Prices start at £12.
There are four main wild-herbs that are used in all Sóley Organics products, each with their own unique attributes and power. These include: yarrow, used for its calming and healing effects believed to help reduce the appearance of pores and first signs of ageing; birch, known to show great promise of fighting cancer and reducing the symptoms of eczema due to its compound betulin; bearberry, full of antioxidants and hydroquinone, one of nature’s most effective skin lighteners known to make the skin glow; and willow, which contains salicylic acids that calm inflammations and reduce bacteria, effectively dealing with breakouts and skin disorders.
The brand has appointed Gribbonberry PR to handle its press and publicity.
