Launched in October 2013 by Antonia Mariconda, the Safety in Beauty campaign is a response to the growing dissatisfaction an devastation caused by dubious cosmetic treatments, and was formed by a group of like-minded professionals and experts. To celebrate their 3rd year anniversary, the campaign has launched a new publication called BEAUTY, A 150 page glossy magazine focusing on education, empowerment, and safely guiding the public through an array of highly sought after cosmetic and aesthetic procedures; from permanent make up, to dermal fillers, cosmetic surgery and teeth whitening. The special issue will be distributed freely, with 25,000 copies per region where publication. Features will include a series of medical professionals and expert profiles with special reports and features on a broad spectrum of aesthetic subjects. The publication launches in the West Midlands today, with plans to also launch in Manchester and London.
