Sandro Paris has collaborated with French designer and artist, Louis Barthélemy, for the release of an exclusive new capsule collection this Spring, which has launched today (11 April).

Louis Barthélemy is an illustrator, textile designer and overall artist who divides his time between Cairo, Paris and Morocco. At the core of his creative process is a deep commitment to the preservation and revival of traditional craftsmanship. This appreciation is at the heart of the creative partnership between Sandro and Louis Barthélemy. Sandro’s founder and artistic director, Evelyn Chetrite, wanted the collection to be in the spirit of a modern fresco, whilst Louis imagined bright graphics inspired by scenes of Moroccan life, coming together to create an exquisite collection of silk shirts, t-shirts, scarves and two Kasbah bags, one of which is entirely hand-embroidered.

In addition, Sandro will be releasing a natural straw and leather bucket bag, made entirely by the DOUM FOR WOMEN cooperative as part of a wider goal to empower women in rural communities. By maintaining traditions in a modern way and sharing their ancestral knowledge of basketry, these women can become autonomous and financially independent.
