SP Collection, the new holding company established by Han Chong, the designer behind the contemporary luxury label Self-Portrait, (pictured, here) has successfully acquired the luxury brand Roland Mouret after it went into administration last month. The brand will join self-portrait, the contemporary fashion house founded by Chong in 2013, in the newly established group that has been set up to discover, nurture, and develop best in class creativity and design.  

The first collection from the brand in its new form is expected to be Resort 2023. The collection will be presented in June 2022 and available for purchase from November 2022. As part of the acquisition, founder Roland Mouret will take on the new role of Founder and Creative Chair of the brand.

The acquisition of the brand consists of its intellectual property and the assets of 19 RM Limited. Staff and Retail did not form part of the offer.
