Global commerce platform Shopify has announced the launch of Linkpop, a new link-in-bio tool, which makes it easier for digital creators and retailers to sell their products from within their social media channels. The tool is part of Shopify’s mission to support creators by expanding access to commerce technology and by building tools that will help merge creativity, community, and commerce.
Merchants can set up an account, link it to their Shopify store, and start populating their Linkpop page with shoppable links, as well as links to websites, articles, videos, and playlists. Shoppable links automatically sync with a merchant’s product catalogue to feature all of the product details a customer will need directly on the merchant’s Linkpop page, creating a streamlined path to purchase that’s fast and secure. Merchants and creators can also house important brand-building links in one place using the tool.
