Portas has been appointed to handle the press and publicity for Regent Street's new shopping service Dropit. The new service, launching on 19 July, offers same-day delivery from the store to customers' homes, with the aim to make Regent Street the first hands-free street in the UK. Bags can be dropped at a participating retailer or at a Dropit point, whereby shoppers can set up their own profile on the mobile app and purchase dropit credits (a single drop, a day pass or a three-day pass).
