Snapchat has launched a new section onto its platform called Spotlight. The new feature will see users creating more meme-like and playful videos, rather than the day-in-the-life content they usually showcase. Snapchat has launched an initiative alongside Spotlight's debut, which will see the company share £1 million between the most popular creators on the app per day through to the end of 2020. This will be based on if a video goes viral and its unique views compared to other snaps that day.
