Superdrug has announced the launch of its debut at-home DNA test. Superdrug is the first high street retailer to offer this kind of test. CircleDNA delivers over 500 personalised reports on genetic categories such as disease risk, food sensitivity and behavioural traits.

CircleDNA is the first retail test kit to use advanced Next Generation Sequencing technology-based whole-exome sequencing to measure 31 million positions in DNA per person. This has important consequences for diseases like hereditary cancers as more than 90% of cancer mutations detected by CircleDNA will be missed by other tests.
