The British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) has announced the appointment of Deborah Joseph, European editorial director, GLAMOUR, as its 2023 chair, succeeding Tim Pollard, group digital editorial director at Bauer Media. Deborah Joseph will be supported by vice-chairs Jaimie Kaffash, editor of Pulse, Gideon Spanier, UK editor-in-chief of Campaign and Andrea Thompson, editor-in-chief of Marie Claire. Together they lead the committee of 15 leading British digital and print magazine editors, editorial directors and art directors who run the society and plan each year’s events.
