Today, The Business of Fashion (BoF) and Topshop have announced Future VOICES, a new long-term strategic partnership dedicated to nurturing the next generation of global industry talent, based on a shared mission to democratise and open the fashion industry by connecting and informing its future leaders. The partnership is designed to support and develop talent through addressing the need for education, access and mentoring, and, for its initial phase will comprise three key elements:
The Future VOICES Challenge — In November, BoF and Topshop will launch a competition via the BoF website to select 10 talented individuals from around the world to join and partake in VOICES, BoF’s annual gathering for big thinkers. Topshop will sponsor the winners to attend the exclusive event, taking place 1-3 December in Oxfordshire, UK. A tailored mentoring programme with top industry executives will ensure that the winners are armed with the tools they need for future career success.
Livestreaming of VOICES —Topshop will be the exclusive livestreaming partner for this event, enabling young entrepreneurs, designers and students to participate in thought-provoking talks and discussions between the fashion industry’s CEOs, decision makers and key influencers from anywhere in the world.
Global Access to BoF Professional for All Students — Beginning this month, Topshop is facilitating complimentary, unlimited global access to BoF Professional for all students, ensuring that they retain access to BoF’s essential business analysis, insight and knowledge.
Additional Future VOICES content and events will be programmed throughout 2017 to ensure there is ongoing access and support for the next generation of talent who are entering the fashion community.
