The Conran Shop has announced the appointment of their new Creative Director, Stephen Briars. He will lead all creative functions of the brand globally. This includes all creative touchpoints evolving the brand experience; all on and offline aesthetics, visual merchandising, graphics, marketing and PR, events, social media and store design. Prior to The Conran Shop, Stephen spent seven years at Urban Outfitters. As European Creative Director, he oversaw the opening of thirty stores and the elevation of the creative content and experience, strengthening the brand concept through both its on and offline channels and a global social media community. Previously, Stephen also worked as Director of Visual Merchandising at Louis Vuitton, where he curated the brand’s window concepts and implemented the delivery of in-store experience in more than 400 stores worldwide. At Paul Smith, as Visual Merchandising Manager, Stephen was responsible for the brand’s showrooms and concessions.
