THE DAILY BEAST has promoted Mandy Velez from assistant managing editor to managing editor. In her new position, Mandy will be overseeing audience dev strategy, writing and editing articles for podcast episodes, developing new products, overseeing growth strategy, and managing freelance editorial budget alongside other responsibilities.
