The Fashion Digital has announced that is has been working on ad campaign #SolutionsAreSexy for London Fashion Week. The campaign shows how waste can be turned into fashion and packaging to save endangered and ancient forests and the climate. Created by non-profit organisation Canopy, who already work with the likes and Stella McCartney, Nanushka and Aritzia and want more fashion brands to get on-board with next-gen solutions.
The unconventional ad campaign shows that fabrics can be made from discarded textiles, and packaging from waste straw, in order to save trees, shrink landfills, and protect the climate. In 2020, ‘rubbish is the new chic’.
