Gemma Swainsbury has been appointed Publisher at The Gentleman's Journal. Gemma joins the men's luxury lifestyle magazine from ShortList Media, where she was Head of UK Fashion & Retail for Stylist, ShortList, Emerald Street and Mr Hyde. Responsible for the growth of the largest commercial category for the business, Gemma spearheaded long-term cross-platform creative campaigns, spanning video, social media, print and digital. While there, she won the PPA New Talent Award and was nominated by Media Week for 30 Under 30.
Reporting to editor-in-chief Harry Jarman, Gemma’s new role will see her commercially driving The Gentleman’s Journal brand forward across the entire portfolio, from the print magazine to the newly launched e-commerce site, newspaper and client agency, GStudio.
