The Industry has released its report Reuse, Recycle & Rental: How Sustainability Concerns Are Shaking Up The Way We Shop. The report has found that:
- 12% of British consumers agree that they need to cut down on the number of clothes they have and dispose of them more responsibly.
- 18% of 24 to 35-year-olds would be happy to rent clothing.
- 34% of all consumers would be happy to shop in a second-hand store.
- 43% of all consumers would welcome a "part exchange" service from retailers on old clothes.
