The New York Times has announced updates to its Culture desk. Former Sports desk assistant editor Elena Bergeron (pictured, left) has been apointed assistant editor on the Culture desk where she will be focusing on growing the publication's pop-culture coverage. Additionally Jonathan Abrams (pictured, right), previously sports reporter, has changed role to national culture news reporter.
