The Irish Sun editor Paul Clarkson has been announced as the new managing editor of The Sun, succeeding Stig Abell who has been appointed TLS editor. Additionally, The Times Scotland editor Les Snowdon has been appointed an assistant editor in London. Les commences his role in June. Deputies Alan Muir and Kieran McDaid are being made acting editors of the Scottish and Irish Sun respectively.
