The Sunday Times has appointed Jane McFarland as fashion director, working primarily across Style magazine. Jane joins from MATCHESFASHION.COM where she was senior fashion features editor.

Jane was previously a former fashion writer for The Times, and her appointment cements Style's commitment to a new digital strategy, which will enable brands to engage with a wider audience on multiple platforms. It also marks the start of the tile's new 360 editorial team focused on providing exceptional fashion and beauty journalism across digital channels seven days a week.

Jane will join a new-look team in September 2017 ahead of a redesign which will be unveiled that same month.
