TikTok launches guide for fashion marketers

TikTok has launched a new guide for fashion marketers. The guide includes tips and sales for brands.

Boost sales

  • TikTok has more than one billion active monthly users, and they’re looking to be entertained, inspired, and discover new products and brands. Fashion brands are connecting with new audiences and boosting their sales by creating engaging content, showcasing their latest styles, and providing great service for their audience. As a result, 40% of TikTok users have bought something from a fashion store they saw on the platform. And these users are 20% more likely to immediately buy something they discovered on TikTok compared to other platforms.

Inspire the audience

  • 54% of users on fashion journeys use TikTok to research and learn more about new products and brands. A further 47% of TikTok users claim that the platform has played a role in discovery and inspiration when trying to find out more about fashion products. While many people look for this inspiration through hashtags or by directly searching for a brand, 28% of TikTok users say that their For You feed is the most likely place to inspire them to explore a fashion store.

Make fashionable content

  • TikTok users love a great deal – 57% of them want to see content containing promotions or deals from fashion brands. Giveaways and contests are a popular format that often results in greater user engagement – who doesn’t like free stuff? Fashion-conscious audiences also enjoy product reveals, how-to videos, and special events.

#UseHashtags

  • TikTok users want to know what’s hot right now, whether it’s the latest streetwear styles or the top trending hashtags. Get to know some of the top-ranking fashion-related hashtags to help boost your views and get in front of new audiences. Here are some good places to start – #FashionTikTok, #FindYourStyle, #OOTD, #StreetFashion, #FashionChallenge, and #FashionInspo.

Find the ad formats that fit your style

  • Creating engaging content with relevant hashtags is a great way to connect with new customers, but sometimes efforts might need a little boost. That’s where TikTok’s various ad formats come in.
