Twitter tests new topics bar to highlight relevant discussions

Twitter is testing a new topics bar above the main tweet timeline, providing a quick link to real-time discussions in the app. The new bar will appear in bubble tabs above the main feed, which provides an easy way to tap through and immediately connect to the latest discussion on a given subject. The subjects will be linked back to your tweet activity, which is designed to get more involved and help Twitter maximise engagement.
