UNIQLO has announced the launch of RE.UNIQLO, an initiative that collects UNIQLO clothing that is no longer needed by customers, to give them new life and new value. The brand will launch Recycled Down Jackets as the first offering from RE.UNIQLO. These items will incorporate rejuvenated down taken from 620,000 jackets gathered from Japan since September last year.
In addition, UNIQLO will invite customers to bring their own used down products into stores to be donated or recycled as part of the initiative, from 24 September onwards. In return, customers will be given a Thank You coupon that can be spent both instore and online.
Recycled Down Jackets will be available from 9 November.
