Fashion brand UNIQLO has announced the launch of its latest collaborative collection with French fashion icon Ines de la Fressange for AW15, debuting at selected UNIQLO stores and online on 3 September. For the line, UNIQLO Design Director Naoki Takizawa worked with Ines to combine her interest in UNIQLO’s LifeWear concept with her unique sense of style, based on refined feminine beauty and authentic quality. The collection is inspired by the sophisticated femininity that motion picture directors Francois Truffaut and Jean-Luc Godard famously explored, greatly influencing fashion and culture in the process. Ines combines nostalgia with fresh impressions for an array of sweaters - reviving vintage ski sweaters with cable knitting, as well as Nordic patterns and her fawn motif. The lineup also includes items employing wool and other natural fabrics in styles and colours that complement winter skies and snow scapes, along with coats, jackets, shirts, dresses, pants, skirts and accessories. The collection is priced from £9.90 for accessories, up to £129.90 for jackets.
