'Afropolitan' make-up and skincare brand UOMA Beauty, pronounced OMA, has announced its launch in the UK. Founded by Nigerian born, LA and London-based former beauty executive Sharon Chuter, the new UOMA Beauty range is rebellious, innovative and created for all. The brand uses the Fitzpatrick scale, which measures the skin’s reaction to the sun, identifying a range of 'Skin Kins'. Everyone falls into one of these categories depending on their undertone, skin chemistry and common issues associated with said skin type. The range includes:
- Say What?! (pictured): a two-in-one complex solution foundation.
- Stay Woke: a luminous brightening concealer.
- Double Take: a sculpt and strobe double-ended contour and highlight stick.
- Afro.Dis.Iac - Cleopatra Ink: a liquid eyeliner in marker form.
- Badass Icon: a concentrated matte lipstick.
- Boss Gloss: a pure color lip gloss – liquid marble.
- Black Magic: a hypnotic impact metallic lipstick.
- Black Magic: a color palette.
