Black-owned social marketing agency VAMP has announced that it is launching a 15-day campaign to promote 15 Black-owned businesses in the UK, through the use of influential digital creators. The businesses range from lifestyle, beauty, haircare, skincare and fitness brands and the campaign will aim to showcase how like mainstream brands, they can be part of anyone's everyday lifestyle.
The campaign #VAMPBlackOut UK Businesses will see one brand a day promoted by a range of influencers, allowing each brand to receive an increase in awareness, traffic and sales over a 24 hour period.
VAMP Co-Founder Ruby Aryiku said: “We recognise that most start-ups don’t have the time, resources or access to recruit influencers or content creators to promote their brands. With that in mind and the fact that we’ve spent three years building a network with great influence and quality content, we felt this is something we could and should do. Many of us want to do what we can to elevate the black community and this was one way we could do that, with the support of our network."
