Purple has been appointed to handle the press and communications for action sports brand VANS. Purple will be working across footwear, clothing and accessories lines, leading on brand profiling, events strategy and VIP opportunities for the UK and Ireland. Vans is an American manufacturer of skateboarding shoes and related apparel started in Anaheim, California, and is owned by VF Corporation. The company also sponsors surf, snowboarding, BMX, and motocross teams.
