Condé Nast has announced in a statement the appointment of Sarah Shannon (pictured, here) as editorial director of Vogue Business, effective 18 May. Vogue Business launched in January 2019, as Condé Nast’s first business media title offering a truly global perspective on the fashion, beauty and luxury industries.
Shannon, previously senior retail reporter at Bloomberg News, will oversee Vogue Business’ editorial teams based in London, as well as journalists around the world, to deliver the news, insights and analysis of global market forces and industry trends, which fashion industry professionals need in a dynamic, and ever changing climate.
Christina Binkley, currently US contributing editor of Vogue Business, moves into the role of editor-at-large, effective immediately. She will retain her focus on the business of culture and fashion. Christina has a long-standing career in journalism, having reported for The Wall Street Journal for 23 years.
