Vogue Man Hong Kong has launched, featuring Korean actor, Park Seo Jun.
With the ambition to fill the gap for a high quality men's fashion and lifestyle publication with values of creativity, diversity and inclusivity at its core, Vogue Man not only creates compelling storytelling and publishes feature writing, it also invites each contributor to collaborate. The issue features a host of columnists from Hong Kong including renowned art collector William Zhao, artist Michael Lau, founder of Design Trust Hong Kong Alan Lo and lyricist and creative director Wyman Wong among others, with the aim of building a community of creatives interested in igniting dialogues with followers.
"We have approached the whole project with a very independent spirit, throwing out the traditional style guide of men's magazines and templates," says editorial director Jacky Tam. "We curated a visual and reading experience that is more fluid, so that each edition feels fresh and spontaneous, inspired by the things that are currently trending, instead of filling content according to a fixed magazine template."
Jacky, a Hong Kong based editor who spent 11 years with GQ China, leads the editorial team with creative director Grant Pearce, also a GQ veteran who has spent more than a decade with GQ in China, Japan and Australia.
Vogue Man Hong Kong is a biannual publication published in traditional Chinese. It will be published in April and September in 2021, with an active presence on Vogue Hong Kong's digital platforms including a dedicated channel on voguehk.com and social media. #VOGUEMANHONGKONG.
