Walpole, the alliance of 200 of Britain’s luxury brands, has opened nominations for its 2017 British Luxury Awards. Established in 2001, the Walpole British Luxury Awards were created to celebrate and honour exceptional brands and pioneering individuals from across the UK. Winners at last year’s awards included Burberry, Roll-Royce Motor Cars, Ralph & Russo, and Charlotte Tilbury.
This year awards will be presented across 12 categories that reflect all aspects of the luxury industry, including;
The winners will be chosen by a panel of judges including; Michael Ward, Chairman of Walpole and Managing Director of Harrods, and includes Helen Brocklebank, Walpole CEO; Gillian de Bono, editor of FT How to Spend It; Hannah Rothschild, writer, filmmaker and chair of the London National Gallery’s Board of Trustees; and Stefan Sielaff, Design Director at Bentley.
Brands are invited to nominate themselves via Walpole’s website here. Nominations will close on Friday 8 September, and the awards will take place on Monday 20 November at The Dorchester in London.
