YouTube has announced that in a series of features of policies to improve user experience, it will be hiding dislike counts across the platform. As part of the new experiment, viewers will still be able to see and use the dislike button but the count will not be visible to them.
Creators will still be able to find their exact dislike counts in YouTube Studio, along with other existing metrics, if they would like to understand how their content is performing.
The new change has already begun rolling out.
