Skincare brand Zelens has announced the launch of Z BALANCE Prebiotic & Probiotic Facial Mist. A multi-benefit treatment facial mist supercharged with a unique symbiotic blend of prebiotics and probiotics. This rebalancing mist supports the skin’s natural defences, strengthens the skin’s barrier, replenishes moisture and helps to calm and soothe the skin.

It has been infused with antioxidants from green Shiso leaves to help shield against daily environmental aggressors. While prebiotics, a blend of sugar molecules which are obtained from corn, beetroot and jicama/yacon tubers, help to rebalance healthy skin microflora. This is in addition to a proprietary blend of five probiotics (Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus acidohilus, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Bifidobacterium and Lactococcus lactis) which have the capacity to maintain, optimise and restore the natural microflora of the skin. 

While a complex of amino acids are blended in a similar composition to how they are composed in the stratum corneum of the skin, they help to draw moisture from the environment, replenish lost skin moisture and maintain the skin moisturised. They support natural collagen and elastin production and promoting skin elasticity.

Z BALANCE Prebiotic & Probiotic Facial Mist is priced at £48/50ml, will be available online and in selected stores including John Lewis from September.
