15 Percent Pledge is a campaign calling on major retailers in the US to pledge 15% of their shelf space to Black-owned businesses. The campaign's aim is to get to 1 million signatures and #buyblack.
Fashion accessories designer Aurora James, Creative Director and Founder of shoe and handbag brand Brother Vellies has called on major retailers including NET-A-PORTER, Target, Saks and Whole Foods to pledge a commitment to buy 15 percent of its products from black-owned businesses.
